How Does Fashion Relate To Health?

Fashion and health share a more interconnected relationship than one might initially perceive. While fashion primarily revolves around style, trends, and self-expression, its influence extends beyond aesthetics and plays a significant role in affecting various aspects of an individual's physical and mental well-being. Psychological Impact: Fashion profoundly influences one's self-esteem and mental health. Wearing clothes that make a person feel confident and comfortable can boost self-confidence and contribute to positive mental well-being. On the contrary, ill-fitting or uncomfortable attire might lead to feelings of self-consciousness and discomfort, impacting mood and confidence levels. Physical Comfort and Functionality: Clothing choices affect physical comfort and functionality. Wearing appropriate attire for different activities or environments not only ensures comfort but also supports physical health. For instance, wearing breathable fabrics during exercise helps ...

BLOOD ANALYZES

EXPERIENCE FROM THE BLOOD ANALYZES

EXPERIENCES FROM THE EXAMINATIONS IN THE ORDINATION

Since I opened the ordination in 2010, over 3000 patients have visited me. The complaints described are as diverse as the people themselves. Health disorders cover the entire spectrum of general medicine with so many patients.

KINESIOLOGICAL MUSCLE TEST AND ORTHOMOLECULAR MEDICAL BLOOD ANALYSIS

At the initial presentation, the symptoms are discussed, based on which the kinesiological muscle test is then carried out. It allows you to determine which vitamins and minerals to start on your first visit. Also, the blood test scope is staked out based on the initial consultation, and blood is drawn for it and sent in. The second meeting is followed by a detailed discussion of the findings and a recommendation on how to continue the nutritional therapy.

Based on these recommended dietary supplements, a fascinating statistical overview can be obtained from the most common vital substance deficiencies found in kinesiological and blood analyses. Here we go!

NUMBER 1 - VITAMIN D3

Looking back over a decade of blood tests, vitamin D3 deficiency is the most common reason for prescribing a vitamin.

Throughout the year, I get findings of vitamin D3 values that are not optimal. So, like a prayer wheel, I would like to repeat the recommendation to take sunlight vitamin D3 in autumn and winter.

SAFE UPPER LONG-TERM DOSAGE: 4000I.E. PER DAY TO EAT

Experience shows that most people with 4000I.E. Taken with food per day achieve satisfactory blood counts. Some people have higher needs. I have never seen anyone with this dosage (4000I.E., Four thousand international units) in the critically high range. The EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) also gives this 4000I.E. recommendation. As a safe upper long-term dosage. Attention: The nutritional medicine societies recommend 200I.E. (two hundred) daily, which sounds downright joking in light of my measurements. That's not my opinion, it's my experience. Due to national legislation, the food supplements' packaging recommendations must not be higher.

SELENIUM - THE NUMBER 2

Selenium follows in second place in the TOP 3. In Austria, it is known that table salt is iodized because it is missing in the soil and is rarely found in regional vegetables and fruit. If you look for the cause of the iodine deficiency, you will read that the Ice Age glaciers washed out this essential trace element. The same goes for selenium.

BRAZIL NUTS, COCONUTS, AND SELENIUM CAPSULES

What do these three have in common? Exactly - a high selenium content

In medical terms: selenium's catalytic function via its detoxifying process as a cofactor of GPx (glutathione peroxidase) is achieved from a whole blood level of approx. 145 µg / l. Such values can be committed with a daily intake of at least 150µg to 200µg selenium on an empty stomach per day. Fortunately, the selenium level rises quickly when taking sodium selenite. If necessary, with infusion therapy. To go back to experience: an intake of 5 Brazil nuts per day also results in great selenium values, but very few consistently pull this off. Dosing with dietary supplements is convenient and safe. In Switzerland, preparations containing selenium may only be advertised as food supplements up to 60µg. In my experience, 60µg is not enough to get an optimal value below, for example, To maintain detoxification of chemotherapy or to promptly compensate for a proven selenium deficiency. I would recommend 200µg on an empty stomach in practice!

OMEGA 3

The study of omega-six and omega-three fatty acids is why our patients should come to the first visit on an empty stomach to examine these "good" fatty acids. In the case of fatty acids, in particular, values are often found in the acceptable range; at least for healthy people

NORMAL VERSUS OPTIMAL

Especially in the case of diseases of an inflammatory nature or dementia, the normal range is only the minimum. Therefore, for orthomolecular medical therapy, one must use high doses of omega-three fatty acids. This requires higher dosages, driving the values into the optimum range. For this purpose, look at the EPA in the Omega 3 capsules and take doses of around 500mg daily with food, which usually corresponds to 2 capsules per day.

Voilà! If you ask me which vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids you should pay particular attention to, I would similarly refer you to this trio consisting of vitamin D3, the mineral selenium, and the essential rich acid Omega 3.
